THE BioTek’s products are strictly for laboratory and research purposes. They are not suitable for therapeutic, diagnostic, or veterinary use and should not be applied directly to humans, animals, or livestock. This includes, but is not limited to, using our products as food additives, dietary supplements, feedstuffs, drugs, or cosmetics.
All prices on our website and quotes are in US dollars. Quotes from THE BioTek are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified by our sales representative. Please note that lead times are subject to final confirmation upon receipt of the order request due to the dynamic nature of raw material availability and other variables.
To place an order, customers must submit an official order request. New customers without established credit generally require prepayment. Customers with established credit can place orders with NET 30 payment terms. Non-profit organizations, such as universities and research institutes, can place orders using an official purchase order issued by their organizations.
We accept bank transfers and credit card payments. For payment instructions, please refer to the separate flyer for order placement or contact us at custserv@thebiotek.com. A processing fee of 2% - 3.5% will be added to all credit card transactions. Payment by check is less preferred and is only allowed for orders with NET terms after invoicing.
Customer orders are considered final and binding only upon receipt of an order confirmation from THE BioTek via email, which will be sent within three business days from the date of the order request. The order confirmation will include an estimated shipping date.
Due to high order volumes, the current handling time for in-stock products is 5-10 business days after you receive the Order Confirmation email. All orders will be shipped from our US facilities via FedEx unless otherwise specified. We can also accommodate requests to use the customer’s FedEx account for shipping and waive the shipping charge. Deliveries are performed in accordance with Ex Works.
The customer is responsible for all costs related to transportation, shipping, storage, handling, demurrage, and similar items, as well as any associated taxes and charges. Any increase in such charges after the date of Order Confirmation is the customer’s responsibility. For international orders outside the US, the customer is liable for any tariffs, duties, and taxes incurred during customs clearance.
THE BioTek warrants that on the date of delivery, the goods comply with the technical specifications stated in the order confirmation and the analysis certificate issued by THE BioTek. Any deviations from the specifications must be communicated within 30 days of delivery. THE BioTek and Innovation Sciences Inc. are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from non-compliant use of the goods with any contractual specifications stated in the order confirmation.
THE BioTek and Innovation Sciences Inc. disclaim any liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or data, or the cost of procuring substitute goods or services, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use our products or services. Our aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use our products or services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for such products or services.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of the State of California and shall be construed accordingly. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pasadena, California.
